What we're trying to do differently

Aesthetic medicine has a selling problem. Most clinics are structured to move product — packages, memberships, treatment plans written before anyone has looked closely at your face.

We built this practice to work the other way around. Consultations are free and forty-five minutes long because that is how long it takes to actually assess someone. Nobody here earns commission on what you buy. And the plan you leave with routinely includes things we told you to skip.

The best work in aesthetic medicine is the work no one can name. Nobody should be able to point at what you had done — only notice that you look rested.

Treated by a physician, not supervised by one

Dr. Heather Aguirre, DO, performs every treatment at Luxxe herself — the consultation, the injection or laser session, and the follow-up. She is board certified in Family Medicine and in Obesity Medicine through the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

This is not how most med spas work. Many operate under remote medical direction, where the supervising physician may never be in the building and the injecting is done by staff or rotating contractors. It is legal in Texas within limits, and it is worth asking about anywhere you go.

Who we serve

We are just off Stone Oak Parkway and see patients from across San Antonio — Stone Oak, Sonterra, Shavano Park, Hill Country Village, Timberwood Park, Encino Park, Alamo Heights, and downtown — along with Boerne, Bulverde, Schertz, and Helotes.

We treat every skin type. That is a deliberate investment: our laser platform was selected specifically because it treats Fitzpatrick IV through VI safely, which many popular devices do not. In a city as diverse as San Antonio, a clinic that can only treat light skin is only serving part of its community.

What we won't do

We don't sell memberships that lock you into treatments you may not need. We don't quote pricing before an assessment. We don't run injectable specials timed to holidays, because discount-driven urgency is a poor reason to have a medical procedure.

And we will tell you when the answer is no — when a treatment won't fix what is bothering you, when you should wait, and when what you actually need is a dermatologist or a surgeon rather than us.
