Medical-Grade Facials in Stone Oak, San Antonio

Built around what your skin is doing that week, using clinical-strength products — not a fixed protocol applied to everyone who books.

What makes it medical

Two things: the strength of what we can use, and the fact that a physician sets the protocol. We can work with concentrations that are not available in a spa setting, and we can adjust based on your history and any prescription products you use.

The word "medical" on a facial menu means very little on its own. Ask any clinic what specifically they can do that a day spa cannot.

Assessed each visit

Your skin is not the same in August as it is in January, and not the same the week you started tretinoin. Treating it identically every visit ignores that.

We look at your skin at the start of each appointment and build from there — lighter when it is compromised, more aggressive when it can take it.

What you do daily matters far more than what happens here every six weeks.

Where it fits

This is a maintenance and assessment appointment, not a corrective one. It keeps skin functioning well and it catches problems early.

If you have a specific concern — pigment, scarring, laxity — a peel, microneedling, or an energy-based treatment will address it far better, and we will recommend that instead rather than sell you a course of facials.

Home routine matters more

What you do daily determines your skin far more than what happens here every six weeks.

Part of this appointment is reviewing what you are actually using and telling you honestly what is working, what is not, and what you can stop buying.

Common questions

Medical-grade facial, answered plainly.

How is this different from a spa facial?

Clinical-strength products, physician-set protocols, and an actual assessment each visit rather than a fixed menu item.

How often should I come?

Every four to six weeks is typical. Less often is still worthwhile; more often rarely adds much.

Will my skin be red afterward?

Sometimes mildly, for a few hours. If we use a stronger exfoliant it can last a day.

Can I come if I use tretinoin?

Yes, but tell us. We adjust what we use and usually ask you to pause it for a few days beforehand.

Is it worth it if my skin is already fine?

Honestly, sometimes not. If your routine is working and you have no active concern, we will tell you that a lighter schedule is enough.
